Based in Tustin, California, Jasleen Brar, DDS, practices general dentistry at AA Family Dental. The USC graduate is one of three general dentists at the practice and is responsible for providing a variety of general and cosmetic dentistry services to patients. Active in the professional community, Jasleen Brar, DDS, belongs to the California Dental Association (CDA) and volunteers to provide dental services to underprivileged people through the organization.

Dedicated to supporting dentists and patients, the CDA maintains numerous programs and initiatives, including the CDA Foundation. Since its formation in 2001, the CDA Foundation has been working to improve the oral health of individuals in California, and it recently received $3 million in community investment funding to cover the cost of its work.

The CDA Foundation is planning to use the investment fund to provide scholarships to dentists dedicated to treating young children. Funds will also support CDA Cares, the foundation’s volunteer dental program that provides free dental services to Californians who are underprivileged or underserved.
